Science for Children in Bratislava

At Papraď Children’s Club, we offer interactive Science classes for children, where children learn about natural science in an engaging and practical way.

The lessons are based on the international course books My Pals Are Here! Science International for Grades 1 and 2. These books help children develop their scientific knowledge while also learning basic English vocabulary related to science and nature.

What will children learn?

• to learn about plants, animals and the human body,
• to observe natural phenomena and the world around them,
• to carry out simple and safe experiments,
• to work with pictures, activities and workbooks,
• to develop logical thinking and the ability to ask questions,
• to use basic scientific terms in English.

How are the lessons organised?

The lessons are not based only on reading a textbook. Children discuss, observe, compare, solve tasks and take part in practical activities. The teaching is adapted to the age and individual level of each child.

We use textbooks, activity books and supplementary materials that encourage active learning and support children’s natural curiosity.

Who is the course for?

The course is especially suitable for primary school children who are interested in nature, experiments and the English language. Previous knowledge of English is not required.
